A picture paints a thousand words.

Ready to view at least ten thousand? (:

Thanks to my dearest Ray, I had the chance yesterday get out of my little apartment to enjoy the fine weather.

We picked out the package from Malaysia before heading off to Glenelg.
Note to family: DHL spoils surprises. There was a huge paper stuck to the package which read 'Item: Soft toy'.

The Buffalo Restaurant
(back view of the ship)

The first stop was this kind-of-floating-ship/restaurant named Buffalo. This really puts other restaurants with the same concept to shame. Floating restaurants are so cool, especially ones with beautiful view and is built to the shape of a ship. :D

Appetizer and a glimpse of the view

The food was great. Roast of the day for darling & grilled whiting for me. (:
Forgive me for not taking pictures of the main course. My stomache was complaining too much for me to pay attention to the camera.

The ship's deck

Supposingly an anchor that gives luck to whoever touches it
I still have yet to see that luck. (:

While we were walking to Glenelg
The view was too breathtaking to resist

The jetty
And a silly-willy (:

Seriously, the water was actually sparkling =O

Man, I'm so jakun-like. Haha. xD

As for dinner....
(Hope you guys are not viewing this on an empty stomach)

Jack's Special @ Jack's Fish Shop

Next up is dessert.
Man, we were so spoiling ourselves.
We stopped by a random ice-cream shop on the way to the jetty to catch the sunset.
And lookie what we have here. ;D

Combine this...

...with this

And you get a perfect ending to a day out. :D
& to make things even better.

Desert number two.

Natural oysters

Kilpatrick oysters (bacon & yummy sauce)

We decided to do a little grocery as the day draws to an end. And trust me, this was so not expected.
Note to self: Use a basket instead of a trolley!

And to top the cherry on top of the icing.
This is what I found when I got home and opened the package. (:

Nothing spells "We love you" more
than doggies from your family to you
and your boyfriend.

Aaaaaand, there you have it. A perfect day. <3
